Scottish broker expands Elgin team with new hire
A Scottish insurance broker has added to its commercial team in Elgin by hiring an experienced professional to help drive expansion in northern Scotland.
Caledonia Dallas, a division of TL Dallas Group, has named Rhona Scott as its new commercial broker. Scott arrives with nearly 15 years of experience, most recently serving as office manager at NFU Mutual. Before that, she worked in administration, compliance, customer service, and operational management across financial services, including roles at the Bank of Scotland and Lloyds TSB.
The company states Scott’s industry expertise and regional connections will enhance its Elgin office, which has recently undergone growth initiatives. This follows the earlier hiring of James Dawson in Inverness, where he focuses on agricultural, rural estate, fleet, and high-net-worth insurance coverage.
Paul Chiffers, head of the Inverness and Elgin offices, called Scott’s background a valuable addition to the team’s development. Scott’s in-depth understanding of customer service and the insurance sector will be a real asset as we continue to grow our Elgin operation.
